Depends: Typically that would represent healing of the tissues but a few may develop surgical complications like blood clots. If you are eating normally, no fever, no shortness of breath, have no other medical problems and it improves it is probably nothing to worry about. To be on the safe side, it is probably worth a follow up with your surgeon.

Could possibly: Be from anesthesia that you have pain. It should resolve in time. Good news is that it does not sound like anything serious, hurtful not harmful. Be patient!
