Inflammation: The discomfort is consistent with mild inflammation of your gastrointestinal tract such as seen with a viral infection which usually resolves without any specific treatment except light diet, rest,TYLENOL (acetaminophen) and kaopectate If diarrhea develops. Flat ginger ale sooths nausea. Avoid alcohol. See your Physician if symptoms worsen such as abdominal discomfort, vomiting, high fever, black or bloody stools.
