HCG is produced by the placenta in pregnancy. HCG varies between 25 mIU/mL and 7500 mIU/mL during the first 5 weeks. It differs in each pregnancy. Since the HCG is up past 25, it may indicate an early pregnancy. No change or below 5 means that you are not pregnant. Repeating the HCG in one or two weeks will confirm if the HCG is going up (pregnant).

Your HCG level is consistent with a pregnant state. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!
