Part of the top of my foot is numb from an injury i believe where i put too much weight on it. its been about 3 week. when i rub over the numb area it send tingles all through my foot, but only when i rub it. could it be a pinched nerve in my foot?

Yes, your symptoms are consistent with a superficial nerve compression from the injury. These symptoms should improve then disappear when the local swelling resolves.
