41y/o female here. i have endometrial polyps and im scheduled to have them removed. is it normal to suddenly have brown discharge and a period lasting for about a week? ive had the polyps for a few months but they never caused this issue before?

Changes in the polyp may be responsible for the irregularity in bleeding. It is good that you are scheduled to have the lesions removed. You may wish to take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia from blood loss. Wish you good health!
