A member asked:

Is it a controversial topic about letting a slight fever run its course, or do you always treat fevers? i thought fever helps kill viruses/bacteria, so wouldnt it be counterproductive unless its a bad fever?

Fever is a manifestation of many illnesses- predominantly infections. This symptom is treated mostly to avoid discomfort or harm if too high while treating the cause. It is not controversial and does not kill viruses or bacteria
