Cough causes: There are a lot of causes of cough that can range from asthma, lung disease, pneumonia to reflux. Two of the more common causes which cause dry non-productive coughing are laryngopharyngeal reflux (reflux to your voice box, essentially) and ace-inhibitor cough (cough from blood pressure medicine, like lisinopril). Could also be from allergies. Each of these has specific forms of treatment.
