A member asked:

What does a rhdpositive, lu(a-) anti-lu a mean on a blood card i need to carry?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your blood type is A. D is the main Rh antigen is positive. You are Lutheran a antigen negative but have antibodies to it. You apparently are at some increased risk to require transfusions, so any blood you receive should by type A, could be Rh positive or negative, and should be Lutheran a negative.
