Blood in veins.: Veins carry deoxygenated blood. That's not to say there's no oxygen in that blood, but it's less that what's arterial blood. Where did the oxygen go? Your body took it.

Other way around: Veins actually carry blood back towards the heart after the blood is done circulating through either the body or the lungs.
