Thanks for asking: One person of european descent out of six has rh negative (d-negative) blood. Nothing special. It's less common in much of the rest of the world. Your persona physician isn't worried about it. It would be great if you'd donate though as it sometimes runs a little short. Thanks.

Please Donate: It would be great for you to donate, but you should go to a blood donation office or a blood drive somewhere and donate as often as possible. Carrying a card may help if you were in a situation where you needed a transfusion but it wouldn't help you for being a donor.
