A member asked:

Does heat exhaustion cause headaches and a faster pulse and heart rate (resting 90hpm - usually 65) the day after the episode? i fainted from being in the heat too long yesterday, and was ok after an hour of rest and rehydration?

Yes it can. Stay cool and hydrated. If not better in a day or two get a check up.

Your symptoms can indeed be explained by heat exposure and dehydration. Consumption of liquids is indeed critical in view of your issues and adequate hydration will be protective.
