I have had my heart thoroughly checked by cardiologist recently. lately my sitting down resting pulse rate is about 80 beats per minute. when i stand it goes up to 100 to 105 and only settles to 90 to 95 when just standing still. what could be causes?

Difficult to speculate what the cause might be. Dehydration could be one possibility. Others include medications if any, low grade anxiety etc. The best advice is for you be examined and further tests be done if indicated. Good luck.

You are normal the most likely cause. If you are not counting your pulse by hand to validate any device you are using.
