What is the proper way to treat a spider bite at home? told to keep it clean and draw a circle around the area to see if infection occurs and spreads? should i take an antihistamine? no itching. just swelling and semi dark ring around area?

Antihistaminics are not likely to be helpful and may just cause side effects. If the inflamed area doubles, an abscess forms, you get fever, discharge develops at the bite site, if would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!
