Perhaps the surgeon had to leave an amount of cartilage in place for support. In certain cases surgery has to be repeated to eradicate persistent septal deviation. Discuss your concern with your surgeon. Hopefully you'll be told that in time the septum will straighten with more healing. You can always get a second opinion in the future.
