I was diagnosed with pcos 7 years ago so my period has always been irregular. i'll go from having mo period for months at a time to having a consistent one. i have been having my period now for the past 14 months without stopping?

It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It is imperative that you see a gynecologist as continuous bleeding needs to be treated. Take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia from blood loss. Wish you good health!

With "PCOS", ovulation is generally absent, so "periods" by definition are not post-ovulatory, and breakthrough bleeding is common, but should not continue for "14 months", so see your GYN physician for an exam and other testing, since there are several causes of persistent bleeding which may not be related to your "PCOS" diagnosis.
