Had a ct scan for lungs to follow up small nodules on base of lungs. both supine and prone positions scanned. what does prone position identify? blood work found latent tb?

Imaging in two positions would provide greater clarity in addressing the lesion. Neither prone nor supine in itself is the preferred position. It depends on the location of the lesion. Wish you good health!
