A member asked:

In the event of a residual scarring from a hepatitis a virus (if severe), does that scarring progress to cirrhosis even when the virus is already fully eliminated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It would be a very occurrence for Hepatitis A to cause cirrhosis. You are obsessing over this issue unnecessarily. More than one of us has stated that never say never. But the odds of your having any residual disease from hepatitis A is so small that it is not worth your while to keep asking this question. Wish you good health!
