A member asked:

My brain mri result was as follows: "few high signal intensity foci on t2w and flair images in the subcortical and paraventricular white matter could be due to nonspecific vasculopathies, vasculitis or demyelination." should i be concerned about ms?

No. The best thing is to have your ordering MD co-relate with the reason /reasons why he/she ordered such a test.

We employ the McDonald revised criteria for MRI's, in order to support a clinical diagnosis of MS. You can ask the radiologist how your films stack up. Appears from your post that the images were not definitive. A lumbar puncture may be a reasonable next step if high suspicion for MS.
