I had an x-ray since i was having chest problems and breathing difficulty. my results indicate that i had a small mass in my left lung and that a ct scan was required. my ct scan revealed nothing. i'm still having issues. should i be concerned?

It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

Tight follow up will be needed with your current physicians. Such situations are relatively common in clinical practice, specifically following acute events followed by protracted symptoms and non diagnostic tests.

For diagnostic clarity of your ongoing symptoms, I recommend consulting a pulmonologist for evaluation and advice. Appropriate testing will then be ordered.
