A member asked:

In menopause 2 yrs history of polyps hysterscopy 2 yrs all nrml last yr lining 5.1 now 6.8 with cyst i am petrified what does that mean ? no bleeding ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If the "5.1 and 6.8" are the measurements of the endometrial lining in centimeters, they represent a normal dimension for age "55", as ovulation is infrequent or absent, and estrogen is still being made by the ovaries, affecting the endometrial lining. If the "cyst" is located in the lining or in an ovary, it is not a significant concern currently.
