A member asked:

Can bacillus cereus make you very sick in small quantities? like if it is some old starch etc. on some cutlery/table? or does it have to be in bigger quantities? impossible to know if there is some stains somewhere?

B Cereus is a ubiquitous bacteria found in most raw foods, soil and some marine sponges. It cannot make you sick in very smalol quantities. food poisoning from B cereus is typically caused by ingesting cooked or raw food that has sat at room temperature for a prolonged period of time. Symptoms include diarrhea and nausea. Stains on a table or cutlery would be an unlikely source.
