No.: From your description, it sounds like the diagnosis was normal flora present. The bacilli and cocci with few WBCs are just describing that. Normal flora is a mixed population like that described. When one has an infection, the causative organism will predominate and will likely be the only thing present. There will also usually be numerous WBCs as these are your cells that fight infection.
