Detoxification from drugs/alcohol, etc, can cause a variety of withdrawal side effects. Low blood pressure, sweating, dizziness, tics, muscle spasms, nausea, vomiting, sensation of bugs crawling on skin, heart racing, headaches and many others. Nicotine probably exacerbated some of these symptoms. They resolve after 3-7 days typically.
