There are no drug interactions between xanax and prilosec. They may be taken together. However, if you have previously had side effects with these medications or are concerned about them, take the prilosec first, and you can take the xanax 1.5 to 3 hours later (xanax takes longer to clear the system). Always inform and inquire concerns with your prescribing provider about all medications you take
