Last year i went to my doctor to get my superficial cervical lymph node scanned to see if it was cancerous as the lymph node was swollen 4 months prior to that appointment. the lump is still there and hasnt changed, could this develop into cancer?

Presumably the scan showed no suggestion of cancer, and cancer would not develop later in this situation. Discuss with your doctor if you remain concerned.

Unlikely. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
