Several possibilities: maybe eyestrain due to refractive visual error that can be reversed with corrective reading glasses, or you maybe sensitive to constant blue light which can be managed with blocking lenses. See an optometrist or ophthalmologist, get examined and have this addressed.

During prolonged computer use, the eye blinking function slows down and causes some level of eye dryness. In addition, the blue light from the computer screen can irritate your eyes. Try using blue light filtering glasses or screen filter, and use lubricating eye drops to keep your eyes from dryness. Try taking eye breaks, where you focus on something that is not your screen for a minute or so.
