GFR is a calculated rate, highly dependent on few variables, among which muscular mass and hydration level at the time blood is drawn are among the most important. There is limited use of trending GFR unless there are existing conditions, such as hypertension or diabetes known to affect kidney function in time.

If you are only 49 years old, both GFR results are abnormal. Furthermore, if your BSA is less than 1.73 m2, the corrected GFR is even lower. You can google BSA calculation and make adjustment. The reported GFR is for a person with an average BSA of 1.73 m2. If the corrected result is less than 60 cc/min, you have stage 3 chronic kidney disease if this low GFR persists more than 3 months.
