If oral hpv transmits through kissing why is it less common than genital hpv? it doesnt make sense to me. even reading about that topic is confusing there are many studies that says it cant be transmitted through kissing or it happens rarely?

Saliva contains enzymes that reduce infectivity potential for may types of germs, this one included. I wonder if you ever notice a n animal/dog licking its wounds to help heal them. Its natural to them & helps.

Pl do not be confused. Oral HPV can be transmitted by kissing and oral sex. In overwhelming majority of the cases the immune system gets rid of the virus and oral and pharyngeal lesions are rare. In the genitalia they are more visible giving the impression that they are more common. You can have the virus yet not get warts too. Be craefull, enjoy life and don' get stuck in minutiae.
