What type of sensitivity? Sensitive to cold, sweets, percussion? Is the pain constant or intermittent? Has the sensitivity been present for 2 years or did it just start? These questions need to be answered for a meaningful response. Since you need to see your dentist to have the tooth evaluated, make an appointment.

Sensitivity may be due to filling being microscopically "high," fracture, previous decay caused damage to pulp, breakdown of restoration, parafunctional habit, recurrent decay, and many other reasons. See your Dentist.
