Yes: Drops usually have antiinflammatories and or numbing meds. They do help.

Oil: If you have an intact eardrum with no myringotomy tubes, there are studies that demonstrate placing warm, not hot, vegetable/olive oil in the affected ear, placing a heating pad over the ear and waiting 20-30 minutes usually relieves the pain. It does not cure the infection, so consult your doctor.
