Medication Questions: We do not offer treatment advice here. But, i know of no ear infection that would respond to doxycycline. That is not an appropriate antibiotic to treat that problem.

You may or may not : Be developing an ear infection. Sometimes congestion can cause ear pain or pressure. An infection may be due to a virus which means that an antibiotic is not warranted. I would not recommend taking any antibiotic without assessment first.
