You can try. You have to DRASTICALLY reduce your protein intake. Increase water intake. and get another level in 3 months. If not substantially changed then you might have to take a med. Good luck

I think you should be evaluated for the cause of such a high uric acid level and treatment begun with medication like allopurinol to bring the level to below 6.5 even in the absence of symptoms.
