Ive been battling really bad anxiety. they had me take benadryl until they got my hydroxyzine in. how long after taking benadryl do i have to wait to start taking hydroxyzine? thanks?

The time it takes for 1/2 the Benadryl to exit your system is 2 hours and all should be gone in 8. There is some likelihood of added sedation/dizziness if you take it before 8 hours.

It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water.
