Is it possible that your pituitary gland is also producing other hormones that could be affecting the thyroid, parathyroid or adrenal glands accounting for other symptoms you're experiencing? An endocrinologist, who is also trained in internal medicine, should be able to advise and follow you. Appropriate testing would be carried out.

A pituitary adenoma can cause other hormonal abnormality besides hyperprolactinemia. You should contact your family doctor and your endocrinologist.
