It is possible that your sinusitis (if that is indeed the diagnosis) is not being caused by bacteria. Alternatively you may have a resistant infection that does not respond to amoxicillin. Either way you need an appointment online or in person to confirm an accurate diagnosis and discuss next steps for treatment.

Other causes include the COVID 19 infection which is a viral infection, not treated w antibiotics. Rinsing the nasal passages prior to Nasal steroid spray is often effective. Bacterial sinusitis often requires a more lengthy course of antibiotics. Monitor temperature and facial swelling, and if this occurs, an imaging study may be helpful.
