I have been diagnosed with sinusitus and been on amoxycillin for 10 days and augmentin for 7 days and no real effect plus nasonex spray .what would eb the next course of action ( recently diagnosed wityh covid 6 weeks ago?

It is possible that your sinusitis (if that is indeed the diagnosis) is not being caused by bacteria. Alternatively you may have a resistant infection that does not respond to amoxicillin. Other causes include the COVID 19 infection which is a viral infection, not treated w antibiotics. Rinsing the nasal passages prior to Nasal steroid spray is often effective. Bacterial sinusitis often requires a more lengthy course of antibiotics. Monitor temperature and facial swelling, and if this occurs, an imaging study may be helpful.
