Fil is in sicily and just realized didnt bring enough low dose aspirin they found 100mg not 81mg over the counter would he be able to take that? he started taking the aspirin daily after he had defibrillator put in? cant call doc till morning?

The minor difference in dosing is not significant. He can use it if he needs to. The studies were done to get to the lowest dose that would produce the desired effect & avoid some of the irritation simple aspirin has on the stomach. The 100 mg should be fine.
