I have acid reflux is it safe to take coated aspirin? i would be taking it as needed for pain as nothing else that is over the counter works anymore.

E.C. Aspirin: You are likely taking you daily dose of aspirin for some cardiovascular reason so it’s important that you take it as prescribed. The enteric coating on the aspirin should minimize irritation to the lining of the stomach. Taking your dose along with a meal will further minimize the risk of gastritis.
