I am on a bland diet doc request. why can i not take ibuprofen and aspirin while on this diet. i take these 2 meds from time-to-time.

Can irritate you: I assume bland diet is to give G.I. tract a rest. Non steroidal inflammatories, of which aspirin and ibuprofen are 2, can cause irritation as well as bleeding from the stomach.
