Almost all belches expel air that has been swallowed. Increased subconscious swallowing therefore is often behind increased belching, and this in turn can be due to anxiety or stress. If you have been worried or under stress recently, that's a good possibility. Your pain may be from intestinal gas; most pain in the kidney areas (sides of upper back) is not due to kidney problems.

Excessive burping is mostly from swallowed air. Pl keep your mouth closed when chewing. Walking does not cause kidney pain and most people mistake back pain for kidney pain. Take Tylenol for pain and use a heating pad.. If not better see your MD
