SI joint: Karissa there is a condition which is sometimes related to the SI joint which is just to one side or the other of your spine in the region of your pelvis. This can sometimes be thrown out of position by activities or stepping abnormally which then causes discomfort in the lower back and in the area which it sounds like you are complaining of. Treatment for this is usually physical therapy so they this is usually physical therapy so they can realign the joint which will hopefully help relieve the symptoms you are experiencing, the same can be done with a qualified chiropractic physician.
