Likely flea or mite: Just because you don't see fleas doesn't mean that they couldn't bite and hop away. They are very agile. Treat with steroid cream. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Itchy bites: Your itchy bites may be due to hives and have nothing to do with fleas or scabies. Hives are not contagious. Try using benadryl (diphenhydramine) for help

Chiggers.: I'm going with chiggers. You never really see them, they itch and can affect many areas of the body. Try using clear nail polish on a test area.
