I had ectopic preg. and had to get a 2nd methotrex. shot. my hcg levels started to decrease, each time i got labs done it decreased by 15%. my most recent drop was significant, went from a 1061 to a 330 however after the 330 it went to 353. normal?

Although the HCG levels are low (330,353), given the persistence of the positive testing, it may reflect that some placental tissue is still viable. See your GTN physician, who may suggest a diagnostic laparoscopy to evaluate the ectopic location.

It might be good to check/ask if the dosages of the 2 injections of methotrexate were properly calculated ( based on your body surface area) and if you might be a candidate for a 3rd injection of MTX, as long as you are relatively asymptomatic and your CBC and vital signs are stable.
