A member asked:

If you put an ativan under your tongue but spit it out before 2 minutes, will it still affect you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to estimate. There is an easily dissolving form that is absorbed rapidly through blood vessels under the tongue and a tablet form that would do so slowly after entering the stomach/digestive tract. You didn't post the type under consideration. Either way, some is likely to enter the system, not the whole amount and not zero.
