I had covid in jan and was heavily affected by it. bad breathing and terrible cough that popped something. i still have my slight cough. about ten coughs an hour. is this normal? its been a few months?

It is not NORMAL. If you define what happens to most with COVID-19. However those with long COVID-19 can have a chronic cough. If you smoke stop. Look up cough as a side effect of all meds you might be taking. GERD can also do it. You can also go to uptodate.com (few $) and review causes of chronic cough and then discuss with your Dr.

I think it's time to consult a pulmonologist for accurate diagnosis,appropriate testing & proper care. You may be advised to have a chest ct scan and/ or a bronchoscopy although this nonproductive cough could be an asthma equivalent without wheezing. The lung involvement during your covid infection may have sensitized you.
