Low risk: The meniscus is under greatest stress with pivoting movements and deep knee bending. Modify your activities preop and avoid high impact running, jumping, etc... Swimming is an excellent way to exercise without placing undue stress on the knee. If you are having pain and/or swelling with workouts than stop. Ice after workouts.

Knee problem.: Your orthopedic surgeon would probably advise you to take it easy and not do those kinds of exercises.
