I have a torn lateral meniscus. will the knee scope surgery hurt?

Duh!: Yes it will hurt some because it is surgery. But you wouldn't be thinking about surgery if your knee didn't hurt from the meniscal injury. The surgery is done arthroscopically and is a same day surgery. You are put to sleep. You will be given medications to help with post-op pain. You may be on crutches a few days if swelling is significant but will transition off quickly. Rehab starts soon.
