27f for the past several months, i had intense cramps several days before my period. buscopan helps. they stop immediately after period starts. never had them before. ultrasound was normal. why and what can i do? should i have my hormones checked?

Since you have no irregularity of your cycles or changes in amount and duration of blood flow,I doubt a hormonal imbalance is the cause. You're fortunate that the antispasmodic, buscopan affords you some relief. Endometriosis could be the cause of your painful periods. I recommend consulting your gynecologist for evaluation & advice.
