Went off the pill in june. had a period in july and now (finally!) having another one. no cramps, but it's day 8 of bleeding. is this normal? the first day was spotting but this still seems long. are my hormones still regulating?

Heavy Periods: When you were on the pill the pill was lightening your periods. Most birth control methods will do that. Often we offer birth control to help with heavy periods. Now that you are off the pill your periods are returning to your natural state.
