I don't think one: could say one way or the other. Important factors that contribute to cyclic, menstrual period cramps are likely hormonal and biochemical while the discomfort associated with saline instillation in the uterus is mechanical due to stretching of the walls. My educated guess is that you would not be expected to have more pain than usual with the ultrasound. Good wishes:)
