What is hypoxic in babies . what happens if this is left untreated?

Hypoxia = hypoxic state means low oxygen concentration in blood (hypoxemia) to the body tissues. Without treatment, death is the end result or at least anoxic encephalopathy (brain damage due to hypoxia).

It is a low blood oxygen and varies by age and lab and maybe altitude. First how is it being measured. Finger devices not very accurate. Causes blindness and brain problems and death. Discuss with the Dr who knows your baby. Can be due to many problems including congenital heart problems.
